| | Coach told us to run. So we did. |
| | Well running in 110 degree weather could be worse. It could be 115 degree weather. |

Good workout in the morning at Bloomington Hills North Park. Everyone is looking really good. There is a little gap between the top A group boys and the rest of the guys, I'm trying to get up there with them. Right after practice I had seminary council stuff until 2:15, and then I went to practice again, but my shoes were locked in Ben's car from this morning, so I had to run the 3 miles in my socks (cause the asphalt was too hot to go barefoot). I'd rather not do that again.

| | 2 mile warm up and 40 minute tempo run. I ended up rolling my ankle in the middle of it, so it was hurting. I stopped when we got to the cars, so I didn't go the full 40 minutes. I wish I could have gone the whole 40 minutes, I was feeling pretty good up until I rolled my ankle. I've been icing it, and I'll look to be be back next week without it bothering me. |
| | Did mayor's loop this morning with Bridger and Ben, it was fun, I love running with those guys. My ankle is a little sore from yesterday, so I'm going to keep icing it, and later on today I'm going to do some swimming. |
| | Race today. Ran a 19:09. Wasn't happy with it, my 3 mile time during the 10k I ran a few weeks back was faster. I knew I could have done so much more. I just wasn't in the mindset of racing. Things will be different this weekend at Hurricane. |

| | Easy 4 mile run today after school. There's a meet in Hurricane tomorrow. I've been taking the last couple mornings off for morning runs because I've just been so out of it and so exhausted. I don't know what it is. I'm just going to keep focusing on the little things and see what happens |
| | Meet in Hurricane today. Ran an 18:19. It's a PR but nowhere near where I want to be. I'm going to go see Coach Powell on Monday and get my blood checked out. |
| | Had to do the workout later tonight. I only did 5 of the 10 repeats because it was pitch black and I didn't feel very safe running alone on the trails behind the school where no one could see me.. But the workout was a lot easier in cooler weather. The first one I did it in 1:52, then i went 1:57-1:58 on the last ones.

| | I did a 1600m time trial today. I did it in 5:34. Which is 5 seconds slower than I did it back in January.

| | Still not feeling well, 7 hours of all-state choir rehearsals left me extremely drained. I fell asleep in the middle of singing!

| | Feeling better, but still weak, went on an easy 4. Nice to get my legs moving. Hopefully this week wouldn't have taken too much of a toll on me for region.
